Intro

The entire brand was created from scratch: name, logo, design language, and product line. A thorough competitive analysis was completed to define a strong baby market differentiator. Ino's color palette and design was developed from the knowledge gained from the competitive analysis. I chose to design a baby bottle, a pacifier, and a teether from the ideal product line that was developed based on other companies' line of products.

Define

Logo Design and Branding

Simple and modern design with a playful soul. Shows the connection between the the parent and the child.

Competitive Analysis

Summarized research on competitors. Overall comparison to the most popular and relevant baby care product companies.

Positioning

Developed organizational graphs comparing the iconic bottle designs from each competitor to find a key differentiator.

Product LineUp

Organized the products into three different categories. I decided to focus designing a baby bottle, pacifier, and teether.

Develop

Design Language

Baby bottles was the product chosen to develop the design language. After choosing an elliptical shape with asymmetrical parabolic cutouts, a teether and a pacifier were designed to match the design language.

Design

The final prototypes were 3D printed in PLA, sanded down and treated to have a smooth surface. Painting the products white was intentional in order to focus on the overall shape and form.
